Some simple tactics

Match online to offline marketing:

  • Use keyword research from online marketing to identify targeted keywords for offline marketing campaigns.
  • Look at keyword research data to get inspiration for new products or services for your business.
  • Target link partners for offline promotional opportunities
  • Read competitors' online material, ads and emails for ideas.

Reversing roles - matching offline to online:

  • If you are launching a new product or service then use sponsored ads or PPC.
  • Re-visit buzzwords and phrases used in mail, TV and print and research for online strategies.
  • Plan seasonal offline events in advance and prepare online marketing to compliment it (ie. seasonal emails/online ads).
  • Contact suppliers and associates and ask them to link to your site.
  • Place your offline marketing 'online' in html or pdf versions.
