PPA (Pay) for what you want them to do

Google is testing a new costing model for users of the Google AdSense system where you pay for an action as opposed to the more traditional click.

So if you advertise on Google using AdSense then you would only pay for what you want someone to do. Thus the system eliminates the problem of click fraud (where competitors can click on your advert to inflate the price) and allows advertisers to focus on adverts that work.

If you want someone to:

  • Sign up for a newsletter
  • Buy a product
  • Download something
  • Click through to your website

Then you'd set a price and pay when someone performed that action.

So, if you want your blog to be found in the Google searches by your own valued customers, you'll need to know what to do to ensure Google finds it and ranks it highly.

Capture customers online with cheese and wine

Although many companies understand the importance of lead generation and realise the Internet can help reach customers, many are not realising the full potential of online lead generation.

Lead generation is an exchange. What value are you offering the customer for giving you their information? For instance, if you want to ask someone their favourite cheese before they sign up for a newsletter then you'd best offer them free wine to go with it!

Don't be left behind, read on for ideas to capture customers.
